LIL WAYNE

Dwayne Michael Carter (Lil Wayne) was born in New Orleans in 1982.
Carter was born when his mother, a cook, was 19. His parents divorced when he was 2 years old, and his father left the family.

He wrote his first rap song at age eight. In the Summer of 1991, he met Bryan Williams, rapper and owner of Cash Money Records. Carter recorded freestyle rap in the voice of Williams, which led him to mentor the young Carter and include him insome songs distributed by Cash Money.

Since then, Lil Wayne has had a very successful solo career. She has recorded several CD's and she has appeared many times on TV in the channel MTV, etc.
